Queens Together, Chapter 5
Jasmine and Snow White were now in fresh new diapers, it being midday. They were making small chats, which went on enough for Jasmine to ask about her experiences with magic and the supernatural.
"Well, don't you know? I mean, they weren't good." Snow White responded.
"Mine weren't all good, but everything worked out in the end."
"I think Cinderella's were all good. If you're interested, I guess you could ask her." Jasmine wnet out to the outdoor court. There were of course walls around it, of course to prevent those with bad intent from coming in, but for a general sense of privacy. Cinderella was sitting out. This certainly wasn't a place to go sunbathing however.
Jasmine brought up the subject, and Cinderella asked what she specifically wanted to know.
"How did magic come into your life at first?" Jasmine asked.
"A fairy woman. She comes into my life now sometimes, like when my husband died."
"I see. I don't expect to find another djinn up here."
"Ah, yes. She did a lot, but I don't want magic to solve all my problems for me. What I did learn was something that can't be easily fixed through fairy or djinn magic- this is endurance."
"That's very nice. But I would quite like to learn about magic and become a user myself." Jasmine said.
"To what purpose?" Cinderella asked.
"Well, you know, not many people are privy to that business and I think it might be positive for both me and those around me."
"And those you watch over?"
"Quite."
"I'll ask around for you. I don't know if there are any books- worthwhile books, anyway, that might be able to help you."
Jasmine thanked Cinderella and wandered off.
Snow White sat down and sipped some tea. She'd recently received a letter from her husband. There had been a scandal brewing in their kingdom. He had been found in bed with another man. Snow White knew this of course, much as he knew of her sometimes sleeping with ladies. There was little precedent of this, however, and she needed to know how to fix things.
Jasmine walked in and had the situation explained to her.
"I know what I would do." she said. "Defend your husband."
"That's what I'm going to do, but... how will people react?" Snow White asked, almost nervously.
"I don't know. Free love is a virtue- don't you believe that?"
"Yes, though I need to work on confidence. People don't know everything about us, not even about my diapers. Perhaps as I get confident, I can announce these things. I do care about them, you know.
"It's a good outlook. I used to have issues with confidence as well. I wouldn't mind helping you. Perhaps you can help me with my magic quest."
"That sounds fun." Snow White suddenly noticed the state of her diaper. "I think we should get changed."
Jasmine, noticing the same with her own, said "Yes, good idea."
